EXPERIENCED CUSTOMER SERVICE/BARISTA FT/PT (Flexibile Hours Required)
Social Grounds Coffee & Tea Co. is excited to have opened our flagship coffee house situated right in the heart of downtown Bothell. We believe in bringing people together over great coffee, one-of-a-kind events, and community involvement. Relentless drive to improve, a self-starter who takes pride in maintaining a clean, orderly environment, with proven ability to independently manage their own time and priorities, staying thoughtfully busy, at all times, regardless of customer flow

Self-defined “morning” person who arrives on time, well rested & ready to work

Can be flexible, when needed, in regards to schedules

WA state Food handlers permit and MAST* permit required prior to first day of work for all employees

Availability Monday - Thursday for coverage purposes, regular hours include Friday - Sunday

At least 6 months of experience working on bar
General duties include, but not limited to:
-
Greeting, educating and thanking customers
-
Preparing & serving consistent espresso and other crafted coffee drinks according to in-house recipe standards, and made to order chopped salads.

POS – Clover operation

Maintaining a clean café area, and well-stocked coffee & condiment area

Attention to detail, when following written and verbal instructions

Working efficiently, and mostly, independently as well as with other team members
Coffee knowledge and barista experience required
*MAST Permit requires servers to be 18 years of age or older
